our therapy method

There are many psychotherapy approaches such as cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic that people find helpful.  We use research-based techniques and rely on therapy approaches that work best for you and the problems that you would like to work through.  Often it's best to use techniques from multiple approaches. We have worked extensively with the following approaches and find that each model has its merits and can be tremendously beneficial :

  • CBT (cognitive behavior therapy)

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior therapy)

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

  • Mindfulness-based techniques

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

  • EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing)
